Anxiety has this property: the more resources it is given, the more it demands. This causes a lot of quick destructive thoughts. You can deal with anxiety on your own if it is a temporary phenomenon. However, generalized anxiety disorder requires the help of a specialist.
Insomnia seriously affects the functioning of the whole body, physical and mental condition. You need to sleep at least 7-8 hours a day, and the best time for this is from 10 pm to 6.00 am. The later we go to bed, the less we benefit from sleep. In addition, its lack leads to loss of energy, decreased immunity, chronic fatigue, disruption of biological rhythms.
4. Unfinished business.
Small tasks tend to accumulate gradually. Therefore, write in your diary absolutely everything you need to do and clear your mind of unnecessary thoughts.
Take it as a rule: everything that can be done in 10-15 minutes, do it right away. You should not leave a lot of little things for later, because over time they will become a huge number.
5. Obsessive fears.
Constant fear of someone else’s opinion, someone’s reaction to our words and failures, is exhausting and debilitating. In this case, fear acts as a destructive feeling: it takes away energy, raises many doubts.
6. Regrets about the past.
This is the most unreasonable and useless way to spend time. The past should be a source of pleasant memories and experiences. Regretting what we did or did not do, we do not get any results.
Mentioning the past should be extremely constructive and justified, and not full of regret.
When we deliberately tell a lie, certain processes are disrupted in the body and a lot of energy is expended. In addition, deliberate lies have a bad effect on human energy – it depresses and destroys. It is easier, more pleasant and safer to tell the truth.
Perfectionists are often dissatisfied with the results of their work; they can endlessly rework the same things. As a result, they spend a lot of energy on minor tasks, and perceive mistakes as tragedies.
All this significantly increases stress levels and leads to overload. You need to learn to relax, enjoy your activities, notice your successes and sincerely praise yourself.
9. Negative emotions.
Negative emotions (anger, fear, resentment) cause great harm. They promote the release of large amounts of stress hormone. To cope with this, the body expends a lot of energy.
Any emotions should not be suppressed or ignored. It is important to be able to feel, accept and experience them.
