Even office work performed on a computer can have a negative impact on health. For example, spine problems may develop, the risk of obesity increases, and the negative effects of stress increase. In order to maintain physical fitness and good health for as long as possible, you should take care of your health at work as well. It is necessary to follow a healthy diet, drink few caffeinated beverages, remember to maintain the correct posture and get enough sleep.

  1. Food at work.

The time of the lunch break should be used both for a nutritious and tasty lunch and for a walk. Of course, if this is possible. This is very important in order to maintain health at work. Try to avoid eating a variety of rolls and chocolate bars, even if your colleagues eat them all the time. Such products do not contain valuable nutrients. Immediately after consuming them, you will feel full and energetic, but unfortunately, you will soon be hungry again and feel tired and nervous.

The daily calorie requirement of a woman of about 30 years of age, who weighs at least 60 kg and performs mental work, is 1800–2000 kcal. A man of the same age who performs the same type of work and weighs 80 kg needs 2400-2600 kcal per day. If a person regularly eats more, even by 300 kcal contained in a chocolate bar, this can quickly lead to excess weight and even obesity. Instead of buying pastries and sweets, a much better solution would be to create a certain menu consisting of dishes rich in complex carbohydrates, proteins, unsaturated fatty acids, vitamins and minerals. It will make you more energetic and productive.

  1. How to take care of your health when you work at the computer?

Working on a computer has a negative effect on the health of the spine. Being at a desk for several hours in the wrong position can cause fatigue, drowsiness, severe pain in both the back and the head, and sometimes it even affects the wrists and elbows. To prevent this, it is necessary:

• correctly adjust the height of the chair according to the height of the table and your own height – elbows should lie on the table at an angle of 90°,

• sit straight on a chair (the best option is a chair with armrests),

• the monitor should be at a distance of 40-75 cm from the face,

• tilt the monitor so that its top edge is at eye level or slightly below it,

• there should be no glare on the monitor,

• take care of the correct lighting of the workplace.

If you often and a lot work on the computer, you need to periodically get up and do gymnastics. And in the process of such work, from time to time you need to look away from the monitor for 10-15 seconds and, at least, look out the window. This will give your eyes a rest.

And if you need to quickly improve your productivity, take Waklert or Armod. These drugs indirectly block the reuptake of dopamine in the brain to promote wakefulness and clarity of thinking. You’ll be working more effectively, staying awake longer, and feeling much better by the end of a long hard day.
